Here are the most frequent queries we get!
Each Project is different and is quoted accordingly. The number of noise sources that need to be considered, the number of receptors, the amount of equipment and resources required, the duration of monitoring, whether it is manned or unmanned, as well as the complexity and size of the project in general are all factors that are carefully considered as part of our quoting process.
We normally offer a very quick turnaround time but this can vary depending on peak seasons and also how much background work and site visits are involved as part of the assessments. Some site visits and specific tasks are also weather dependent, which can sometimes be out of our control. Therefore, our clients are always well informed and kept up-to date on the progression of their projects and we provide very accurate turnaround times before getting instructed to proceed on any project.
To ensure a smooth and quick process, the more information that can be provided, the better. As a start, we need to understand the project itself, the design involved and proposals. As such, we require site location plans, architectural drawings and also the details and noise emission levels of all plants and equipment that form part of the design. It is also important to provide any essential communications from the local authorities such as planning conditions, scoping opinions and any other project specific requirements issued.
SoundPLAN Simulations offer an excellent and precise visual understanding of the noise propagation levels as well as the noise impact at each receiver's location whilst considering unlimited numbers of noise sources, diffractive and reflective objects as well as topographical impacts within a model.
INSUL Simulations help predict the acoustic performance of your designed walls, floors and ceilings.
In some cases, such simulations are mandatory whilst in other cases, they are optional and this is made clear as we issue the project quotations.
We only accept card payment and bank transfers, following which deliverables are made available.
